Evenings Are Getting Brighter: ICITY’s Energy Independence
We are pleased to announce that ICITY is now equipped with a generator, so possible power outages will not interfere with learning or the activities we are planning for the winter camp.
Together with our students, we have already learned how to cope with darkness. Thanks to the creative ideas of biotechnology teacher Alina Kremenetska, several classes on cells were intentionally adapted to minimal lighting conditions.
We have seen for ourselves that a sense of mystery sparks additional interest—especially when it comes to the fascinating structure of the cell and the opportunity to study it under a microscope.
Now, however, ICITY is fully energy-independent and does not rely on power outage schedules.
In addition, we would like to remind you that the center is equipped with a comfortable, certified shelter in case of air raid alerts.
ICITY cares about its students and strives to create the best possible conditions for learning.
