Visited the Main Scientific Event of the Spring in Lviv: OL Science & Tech Fest 2025
On May 31, a vibrant science fair unfolded on the campus of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, where Ukrainian developers and startups showcased innovative technological solutions across various scientific fields: 3D printing, green energy, biotechnology, robotic systems, and more.
The university’s main assembly hall hosted keynote speeches on the main stage. The most anticipated was the talk by Nobel Prize laureate in Physics (2017), American physicist Kip Thorne.
Kip Thorne shared insights from his collaboration with the film industry, including his work on Christopher Nolan’s projects. He offered a glimpse into the structure of the universe and the mysteries of space — as far as science knows them today.
OL Science & Tech Fest provides a unique opportunity to explore innovations and technologies that are already available in Ukraine and continue to develop despite the full-scale war. Some of these cutting-edge solutions will soon be integrated into the ICITY educational program.
